Never has a phrase been more true. This year has truly rocked my world and while I write this post with tears in my eyes I think it is still important to recap the year. It's also important for me to remember that there was a 2013 before August and before dad's pancreatic cancer. It's important that I not allow the whole year to be marred by all of the trial of the last few months for a year is a full twelve months. So, just as I do every January: here's to 2013 and all of the many ups and downs.

Now onto next year. I would be lying if I didn't say I am happy to see 2013 go. I am, however, trying to be more aware of my attitude in 2014. I want to be grateful in good times and bad. I have my "Be Thankful in 2014" jar ready to go!
Here's to a new year that's bound to be full of blessings!
