Multnomah Falls and Hood River

After a day of painting at home on Monday we decided to venture out to Hood River on Tuesday. It is about an hour and a half from Heather's house straight through the Columbia River Gorge. It was beautiful! I couldn't help wanting to take pictures at all of the gorgeous picture spots. Below is a small collection of the photos that were taken.

Cool sign below the train bridge.
At Multnomah Falls. I was blown away. My favorite place in Oregon thus far.
With those sweet Baker kids.

For some reason I really love the moss on everything in Oregon. So green!

After Multnomah Falls we headed on to Hood River. We walked around the town then went to Full Sail for lunch at the request of a friend of ours.
At Full Sail.... a beer for you, Jamie.

After Full Sail we went to the water to watch the kite sailers. There were so many of them on the water. It was very cool to watch them sail around and the little kids taking lessons.
It was a great end to our little day trip.
Then we were off...back through the beautiful Columbia River Gorge to Portland.
What a great day!
